How Keeper works

This is how Keeper will work: find a locker, unlock it from your phone, and pay for the minutes you actually used. We are building the first lockers now — nothing is bookable yet.

Three steps

1. Find

Open the Keeper app to see locations and what is free nearby, before you set off.

2. Access

Reserve a compartment and unlock it from your phone. No keys, no coins, no counter to queue at.

3. Pay

The meter runs by the minute while your bag is inside and stops when you take it out.

What it costs

Billed per minute by compartment size: 3 cents a minute for small, 3.5 for medium, 4 for large. Because billing is per minute rather than in hourly blocks, a two-hour stop costs about two hours rather than a rounded-up half day.

After 150 minutes the meter stops and the day rate for your size applies for the rest of that day: EUR 4.50 small, EUR 5.25 medium, EUR 6.00 large. The two meet exactly, so nothing jumps at the boundary.

The locker

Our reference unit holds 21 compartments and arrives network-connected, so a location does not need trenching or new data cabling to host one.
